Construction
Projects

Successful construction projects require a combination of a commitment to excellence along with the collaboration of work with talented professionals and strong communications with our clients. We utilize these traits throughout all four crucial steps in every successful project.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Early involvement in a project by the general contractor is the first key to successful construction. Initial participation allows us to completely understand a project’s challenges, client needs and expectations. This also includes establishing a strong team approach with architects, engineers, specialty trades and clients to establish time frames, goals and responsibilities. Specifically, it includes cost effective design, conceptual estimating, permit coordination, detailed scheduling, and setting performance baselines around procedures and logistics.

The main goal of pre-construction is to gain a full understanding of the project prior to any building in order to eliminate surprises after breaking ground and to build as cost effectively as possible. This happens best through close communication and collaboration among a strong and cohesive team.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Our team of project managers bring vast amounts of experience to every project. Providing the highest level of professional services our project managers bring unique techniques and experience to oversee the planning, design and construction of every project. Success is when a project is delivered above the clients expectations while the entire experience was educational and enjoyable. This is how we build long term relationships.

Our project managers working directly with each client is the nexus between the building crew, the client, architect, engineers and everyone involved in each project. We believe that a strong project manager will help deliver the best quality project in the most efficient and timely manner, while providing regular communications along the way. Each project has weekly agenda driven site meetings to review the progress of the project, the future schedule and the status of the building budget.

QUALITY CONTROL

Although all areas of construction are important, quality control is one of the most important tasks we perform on a daily basis. From the president of the company to the newest laborer, all team members are responsible for the quality of each project. Every project manager along with the project superintendent are directly responsible for maintaining the highest possible quality. We have established a four step system to assist with maintaining a regular and consistent quality control model.

  1. Central Quality Control document: Establish a central single cloud based management document for quality control for each project that is accessible and collaborative to the team members.
  2. Digital Checklist Inspections: Provide conforming and non-conforming inspection checklist to ensure nothing is overlooked during walkthrough inspections.
  3. Look-Ahead Planning: Establish in advance work to be inspected, how each item will be inspected, assign responsibility for inspections and include witness sign-off.
  4. Collaborative inspections with Trades and Subs.

SAFETY

The safety and protection of our team members and job sites is of paramount importance. We have established a safety program that includes employee protection, property protection and protection from liability claims.

Our projects have assigned safety officers to ensure our safety goals are being followed properly. From protective fear like safety helmets, harnesses and vest to establish weekly safety meeting. Safety meeting is always at the forefront of every action on a jobsite. Everyone at all of our projects is required to follow our posted safety rules.
